Terms of Service

1. The service

GoatMode turns a goal you describe into an engineered, AI-generated prompt (and related outputs). It is a tool that produces text for you to use elsewhere; it does not act on your behalf.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service to generate illegal, harmful, infringing, or deceptive content;
• attempt to bypass authentication, billing, credits, or rate limits, or access the service through anything other than the provided interface;
• use the service, its API endpoints, or its underlying AI provider as a general-purpose model proxy or for any purpose other than generating prompts within GoatMode;
• resell, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or the credits/free tier (including multi-account abuse).

4. Subscriptions, credits & billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe at the prices shown on our Pricing page, and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and your plan stays active until the end of the current period.
• Credits are consumed as you use the service. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• We may change prices or plans prospectively; changes will not affect the period you have already paid for.

5. Your content and the output

You keep ownership of what you put in (your goals, inputs, and uploaded files). As between you and us, you own the prompts and outputs the engine generates from your input, subject to the terms of the underlying AI provider. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service (process your input, generate and store your output, and run billing).

6. AI output — no warranty

Output is generated by an AI model. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your purpose, and it is not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing any output before relying on it and for how you use it and the results it produces. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GoatMode and [LEGAL ENTITY] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you. [CONFIRM with counsel.]

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service or others.

10. Governing law

11. Changes

We may update these terms; we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
